Conducted research with postdoc Sydney Aten, PhD, in the lab of Clifford Saper, MD, PhD. Investigated a hypothalamic circuit that potentially regulates the circadian rhythm of sexual behavior in mice, and examined the effects of sleep and body temperature on fertility.
Conducted research with Chen-Yu Wang, MD, PhD, in the Fishell Lab at the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research. Studied the effects of transcription factor knockout on cortical interneuron development.
Conducted drug discovery research under principal investigator Kevin Hodgetts, PhD, at the Laboratory for Drug Discovery in Neuroscience (LDDN). Focused on novel central nervous system (CNS) therapeutics for Alzheimer’s Disease, Migraine, and Essential Tremor.
Led weekly office hours and review sessions to aid over 300 students taking Organic Chemistry II.
